• HELL & BACK WINTER –
  Ireland’s Toughest 10K Challenge After the huge success of the first event in October, where over 600 lunatics hauled themselves around the grueling 10K course, Alive Outside has launched HELL & BACK Winter, which will take place in Killruddery Estate, Bray, Co Wicklow on Sunday 29th January 2012. Coral Leisure Centre, Wicklow

Coral Leisure Centre Wicklow is located on Station Road in  Wicklow Town ( by the train station). The Centre has a 25 metre deck level swimming pool and a 9-metre learner pool.

Also in the pool area is a sauna and a steam room which offer you the perfect opportunity to de-stress, unwind and relax after your swim (over 18's only).

The Coral Leisure Centre has a fully equipped gymnasium offering a selection of cardiovascular machines, weights machines and free weights.

New Archery Club in Wicklow

The Garden County Archery Club are a small club based in Wicklow Town, Peter from the club recently contacted us here at the wicklow way to let us know that they are “always looking for new interested members or even anyone who just wanted to see what it is all about to come on down.”

Yours truly has once had a go of archery and it was great fun- much harder than you imagine but a great feeling when you hit your target!

We have recently just moved to our new indoor home for the winter in The Abbey Community College on the main road into Wicklow town, and we have our starter courses starting on the 12th of January.

To sign up drop into Frankie Sports, 17 the Mall, Wicklow Town.

The cost is €70 for the 6 weeks with all equipment supplied during the course, and after you can get involved.

The course is for safety and training, after all it is a bow and arrow not something you want to play with.
