It is a thriving fishing village with the 4 acre annamoe trout fishery fly fishing lake open all year round with a friendly welcome, junior bait pond, refreshments available in the log cabins (oh yeah!) all surrounded by the beauty of nature!
Without wishing to be considered a name-dropper (ahem-woof) the acclaimed film director John Boorman (deliverance -1972) currently lives here in Annamoe.
