The relaxing & classic lounge at Powerscourt Arms Country House offers homemade quality dishes in a cosy and friendly environment.

The Lounge serves a hearty country breakfast every morning followed by lunch with daily blackboard specials with one of Louise's specialty dishes "Beef & Guinness Pie" proving a real treat to both locals and visitors.

An extensive bar food menu is also served in the evenings from 5-9pm and all day Saturdays and Sundays with sumptuous home-cooked specials and desserts.

The Lounge at the Powerscourt Arms Country House is a very child-friendly environment and families are always welcome as children's menu are available.

Live music is in the lounge every Saturday night with entertainment by local musicians from traditional to contemporary.

Traditional Irish Music sessions
There’s plenty of ‘craic agus ceoil’ with our Traditional Irish Music sessions.  Your’re encouraged to join in with the band or simply sit back and absorb the culture.  The craic is mighty and the Guinness is flowing, as more tourists are lured up for an ‘Irish Gig’ with the Irish Dancers who perform on a regular basis. Instruments used range from the accordion, banjo, fiddle, mandolin, tin whistle, guitar, bodhran, uilleann pipes and even the spoons!

Live Music Venue

We pride ourselves on being a Live Music Venue Pub with free admission to all our customers. Being in a tourist location, we need to cater for a wide variety of music tastes, so we have brought together a collection of Irish musicians, who are passionate about their music. Functions and Room Hire:
The Mickey Finn’s room is cosy and rustic with a genuine pot belly stove and can cater up to 120 people. For smaller groups (up to max 36), you can also choose to have your function in the ‘Conservatory Restaurant’.

We cater for all those special occasions from 2 to 120 people for Birthday’s, Christening’s, Communions, Engagements and even small Weddings.

Imagine a place with nightly entertainment organised for your kids, adjacent to a cosy Bar & Restaurant where you can enjoy some well deserved adult down time before picking up your happy little angels.
