Sponsor a Sod

Sponsor a sod - Your Club - Our History - Be Part of It.

The Sponsor a sod, Your club, Our history, be part of it campaign has been a bit slow and dissapppointing on take up and now only has a few more weeks to run. People purchasing online are kindly asked to send an email to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it so we can ensure the correct name will appear on our wall.

The cost of the sod is €50. For this, the purchaser will get their name permanantly displayed on the walls of the dressing rooms. You will also receive a certificate from the club that can be kept at home as a reminder of your involvement with the club. Money raised from this campaign will go towards developing the facilities so members of the community and the club can continue to get the best possible training and enjoyment from the club. This campaign will be ending in September so do not miss your chance!

Local Community Groups:  Email us in your weekly events / notes

which we will then put up on your very own community page on our main website: http://www.wicklowway.ie (under Local Notes Button)

We will also add each community centres' details on our business directory for freehttp://www.thewicklowway.com

How does this help you?

Well, more people become aware of the work you do and the services you provide plus our websites are very high on Google etc . for eg a visitor from usa driving round wicklow may see that you have a car boot sale that day ( via mobile web) and come along to visit or a business may be looking for a venue to hold a conference and find you through google. etc..

How does this help us?

By having the latest information related to your centre, our visitors find what they are looking for and are therefore happier.

So, in short, anyone interested in promoting their local communities events and notes for free can do so online by emailing office@thewicklowway.ie

Any queries give us a call on 087 3205680
