Wicklow's Historic Gaol

wicklow gaolWicklow's Historic Gaol Steeped in history spanning the 1798 rebellion, the famine and prisoner transportation era right up to the Irish War of Independence and Civil War, Wicklow Gaol is open all year round for historic tours and events with a ghostly difference.

Officially declared 'most haunted' by the US Paranormal channel Ghost Hunter's International investigation into the building, visitors can experience the paranormal for themselves.

Twice a month top Irish and international psychics lead overnight paranormal investigations from 9pm until the early hours.

Moving tables, strange sounds and mysterious happenings are part and parcel of the experience.

For a lighter introduction to the ghosts, the gaol also runs night tours on the last Friday of every month.
